We've known Hellions for quite a while, but now it comes with its partners in crime: Confessions, Martyrs and also Saints.
We already know this deck quite well, but it still fascinates us. It must be the charm of being disobedient.
Doing something bad is often easier than confessing. In some Christian sub-religions, people confess their sins in a confession booth, which is depicted on the jokers of this deck. After the confession, the sinner will regain the grace of God and when the sinner dies, he or she will end up in heaven.
The only good characters in this series and the opposition of Hellions. Saints are recognized as holy persons, for their extremely good acts. But doesn't everyone sin at least once in his life...? So even the good character is possessed with the bad.
Some aspects of this deck are in peaceful light blue and for instance, one side of the kings of diamonds has a halo.
A Martyr is someone who's killed because of his or her beliefs. The jokers in this deck are related to death penalty.
